Report for Fighting COVID-19 Donation

On April 8, 2020, California Chinese Engineers Association (CCEA) and Chang Cheng Chinese School (CCCS) announced our solicitation of donations when COVID-19 pandemic was developing and getting more and more severe in the USA. By the donation close date of April 21, 2020, 68 CCEA members and friends and 36 CCCS parents donated $18,500 in a short period of just two weeks!
With the generous contributions from CCEA members and friends and CCCS parents, we:
1. Purchased 26,000 iMask™ Level 2 ASTM Premium Face Masks ASTM (cost: $15,061.64);
2. Purchased 30 gallons of hand sanitizers (cost: $751.68); and
3. Donated $2,686.68 to Sacramento Food Bank to help the less fortunate Sacramento residents and families during the pandemic.
The masks and hand sanitizers were then donated to the below organizations:

Total Donation Amount: $18,500
More detailed information of the donation purchases and distributions is documented in an MS Excel spreadsheet file. In a nutshell, we collected $18,500 donation, with 3 spending purchases ($5,190, $9,871.64, and $751.68) for a total of $15,813.32. Therefore, the balance of $2,686.68 was all used for local food bank donation.
